How wanted ads work on LoveToPay

Love what you want. Pay what you offer.

From a second-hand table to a plumber, a weekend away or a memorable experience: tell sellers and providers across the UK what you want and what you can afford. You decide which offer to accept.

    Ask for what you want

    1. 1Choose a product or service and post what you want: an item, trade job, lesson, trip or experience. Set the total price you're offering.
    2. 2Add condition and delivery for products, or dates, location, people and scope for services. Check the AI guide price if you want an estimate — your offer stays your choice.
    3. 3Sellers and providers send matching offers. Compare the details, photos or video and ask questions in messages before accepting.
    4. 4Accept the offer you like best. The other offers are politely declined.
    5. 5Pay by card for the agreed product or service price, plus any agreed product delivery. Contact details unlock after payment confirmation so you can arrange the handover, work or booking.

    Match a buyer's request

    1. 1Browse wanted ads for products, trades, services, travel and experiences. Check the buyer's location, requirements, dates and budget before offering.
    2. 2Describe exactly what you can supply at their price. For goods show the real condition; for services explain scope, availability, inclusions and exclusions, with relevant photos or video.
    3. 3If the buyer accepts, they pay by card. LoveToPay keeps 10% of the product or service price, not product delivery. There is no seller fee to pay upfront.
    4. 4After payment confirmation, contact details unlock. Arrange delivery or confirm the work, appointment or booking; track your bank payout on the seller dashboard.

The right details for each request

For products, include the model, size, condition and whether you can collect or need postage. For trades and services, say where and when you need the work, how big the job is and whether materials should be included.

For travel and experiences, include your dates, destination, number of people and what's included in your total budget. Check availability, cancellation terms and any provider qualifications or protections before accepting.

The AI guide price is an estimate, not a quote or a promise of availability. Dates, location, materials and the number of people can change the cost. You still set your offer and agree the exact scope with the provider.

    Payments and payouts

The buyer pays by card for the product or service, plus any agreed product delivery. We keep 10% of the product or service price and pass the rest on to the seller or provider — no extra buyer introduction fee.

Your payout is sent to the bank details on your account once the payment is confirmed, so there is nothing to pay up front as a seller or provider. Allow a few working days; check the recorded payout on your seller dashboard. A test-mode checkout is not a real charge or payout.

Nobody's phone number or email is visible until that payment is confirmed. After that, you deal with each other directly.

    Keeping deals on the site

Buyers and sellers chat here on LoveToPay. Until the payment is confirmed, messages that contain a phone number, email address, social handle or link are turned away.

Tricks like spacing out digits, writing "name at gmail dot com" or spelling numbers out in words are caught too.

Photos and videos are checked as well, so a number written on a sign, screen or label won't get through. Once the payment is confirmed, everything is unlocked.
